butter lettuce
leaves separated
sesame seeds
for garnish
Instructions
Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
Add crumbled tofu and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and chopped water chestnuts. Cook for another 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in green onions.
Spoon the tofu mixture into butter lettuce leaves and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crunch, add chopped peanuts or almonds before serving.
