Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter creamy
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs room temperature

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  • Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool before cutting into bars. Enjoy!

Notes

For an extra indulgent treat, drizzle melted chocolate over the cooled bars before serving.
