Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips if using.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool before cutting into bars. Enjoy!

For an extra indulgent treat, drizzle melted chocolate over the cooled bars before serving.
