Ingredients
  

Chicken and Noodles

  • 2 tbsp butter divided
  • 1 lb chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • Add the egg noodles, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well, then cover and cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until the noodles are tender.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the pan and stir in the remaining tablespoon of butter and parmesan cheese.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a splash of heavy cream or a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
