Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 14.75 oz salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or crushed saltine crackers

  • 1/4 cup bell pepper optional
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the salmon: Drain and flake the salmon, removing any large bones or skin.
  • Mix ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine flaked salmon, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Mix until combined.
  • Form patties: Shape the mixture into patties (about 3-4 inches wide).
  • Heat oil: Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Cook: Fry the patties for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Drain and serve: Remove patties and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve with tartar sauce or a side salad.
