Ingredients
  

Cake

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water

Filling

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Topping

  • 1 container chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Prepare the cake batter according to the box instructions, using eggs, oil, and water.
  • Pour the batter into the baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool for 10 minutes, then use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake.
  • Pour the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce evenly over the cake, letting it soak into the holes.
  • Spread the chocolate frosting over the top of the cake.
  • Sprinkle shredded coconut and chopped pecans evenly over the frosting.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra indulgent treat, drizzle additional caramel sauce over each slice before serving.
