Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Preheat the pan: Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C). Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Make the garlic butter sauce: In the same pan, lower the heat to medium. Add the butter and let it melt. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Deglaze the pan (optional): Add lemon juice to the pan, scraping up any browned bits to enhance the flavor.
  • Return the chicken: Place the cooked chicken back into the pan and spoon the garlic butter sauce over it. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.
