Ingredients
  

Granola Base

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, or chopped dates)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips added after baking

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix oats, nuts, salt, and cinnamon if using.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour wet ingredients over dry ingredients and stir until everything is well coated.
  • Spread the granola mixture evenly onto the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.
  • Let cool completely, then stir in dried fruit and chocolate chips (if using).
  • Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
