  • 200 g dark chocolate 70% cocoa
  • 100 g milk chocolate
  • 100 g pitted dates chopped
  • 50 g almonds chopped
  • 50 g cashews chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional for extra sweetness
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt optional

Instructions

  • Melt the Chocolate:
  • In a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate and milk chocolate together, stirring occasionally until smooth. Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in short 20-second bursts, stirring in between.
  • Prepare the Ingredients:
  • While the chocolate is melting, chop the dates, almonds, and cashews into small pieces.

  • Pour and Set:
  • Pour the chocolate mixture into a silicone chocolate mold or a lined baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula. If desired, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top for added flavor.
  • Chill:
  • Place the chocolate bar in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until it has completely set.
  • Serve:
  • Once the chocolate is firm, remove it from the mold or pan and cut it into bars or squares. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey/maple syrup, depending on your taste preference.
If you prefer other nuts, feel free to substitute the almonds and cashews with pistachios or hazelnuts.
Make sure the chocolate is fully melted and smooth to avoid any grainy texture in the final product.
