Cake Batter

  • 1 cup almond flour finely ground
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Topping

  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch cake pan and line with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together almond flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy!
