Ingredients
  

Cake Batter

  • 1 cup almond flour finely ground
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Topping

  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch cake pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  • Sprinkle sliced almonds evenly over the batter.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool before dusting with powdered sugar.

Notes

This almond cake is naturally gluten-free. You can serve it with whipped cream or fresh berries for extra flavor.
