Ingredients
  

Beef and Sauce

  • 2 lbs beef tips cut into chunks
  • 1 cup beef broth low sodium preferred
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 8 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Creamy Finish

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

Instructions
 

  • Place beef tips in the slow cooker.
  • Add beef broth, onion soup mix, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until the beef is tender.
  • Stir in heavy cream.
  • Mix cornstarch with water, then add to the slow cooker to thicken the sauce. Stir and let cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, you can sear the beef tips in a pan before adding them to the slow cooker. This will give them a richer taste.
