  • 1 tsp paprika optional, for extra color

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the ingredients: Finely chop the herbs, shallot, capers, and anchovies if using. Mince the garlic.
  • Mix the butter: In a bowl, mix the softened butter with the mustard, capers, anchovies, minced shallot, garlic, parsley, chives, tarragon, and lemon juice or zest.
  • Add seasonings: Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, curry powder, salt, pepper, and paprika (if using). Make sure everything is well combined.
  • Shape the butter: Place the butter mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap or parchment paper. Shape it into a log or any desired shape, then wrap tightly.
  • Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the butter to firm up.
  • Serve: Slice the butter into discs and place over hot steak, grilled meat, or vegetables, allowing it to melt and enhance the dish.
